An academic title serves 2 functions, usually:

To reflect the thesis of the text

To engage the audience’s attention
The two-part thesis is a convention of academic writing. (Look up any topic on Google Scholar and see what I mean…)

The first part (Part A) has the job, generally, of engaging the audience’s attention.
The second part (Part B), the part after the colon, has the job of reflecting the angle of the thesis.

Try out a few for your Assignment #5 paper. Then go back and look at your other assignments, the ones you’ll revise for next Monday, and see if they would benefit from an academic title!
